Love it! We have embraced the new accelerometer pedometer technology and encourage everyone to do the same. They are accurate, reliable, quiet (no clicking at all) and this Pedometer is certainly a 'Pocket Rocket'! The Omron HJ113 Pocket Pedometer is consistently accurate and has some awesome functions including 7 day memory.
The Omron HJ113 Pocket Pedometer is the Metric (kilometers and Kilograms) version of the HJ112 Pocket Pedometer which is in Imperial (Miles and Pounds). And now to really confuse you Omron have released an imperial version of the 'HJ113imp Blue' as well, just a different colour!
Detachable waist clip IS NOT available on all models of the Pocket Pedometer
Apart from the measurement being different (Imperial vs Metric) the other obvious difference is that all the Imperial versions of the Pocket pedometer such as the HJ112 and the 'HJ113imp Blue' have a detachable waist clip where as the metric version (HJ113 RED) does not.
Accelerometers have been around for years but only recently have been used in pedometers with amazing results!
Every walker will love this pocket pedometer (as long as you don't want to wear it on your waistband!) Perfect, if you are overweight as you don't have to wear it on your waist, you can wearit in a pocket , around your neck or in your bag. You will love this pocket pedometer!
