The Yamax Digi-Walker CW200 is considered to be the ‘new and improved’ version of the Yamax Digi-Walker SW200 pedometer made popular by 10,000 steps a day research programs worldwide.
Yamax claim that the CW series is more accurate than the SW series (such as the SW200 DigiWalker and SW700 DigiWalker) by their factory experiment comparison. The CW series certainly are an impressive pedometer with their look and dual screen.

The CW200 is a wonderful sequel to the SW200 Digiwalker. It looks better, feels more durable and having the dual screen is certainly a welcome improvement. The introduction of the metal clip is a good feature but for some body types it can dig into the flesh a little.
However, for the first time Yamax now have competition with other pedometers offering the same if not better accuracy- introducing the new range of Accelerometer Pedometers!
Accelerometers have been around for years but only recently have been used in pedometers with amazing results!
The CW200 Digiwalker is a great reliable pedometer with one function - counting steps - I recommend it to any walker who wants to simply count their steps. Because its a step only pedometer there is no programming required, you just have to set teh time! Its simple, reliable, accurate and very easy to use. Just clip it on and off you go.
An excellent competitor to the CW200 in price range, accuracy and function is the G-Sensor Accelerometer Million step pedometer (GS2025).
